A Phillip Island boutique hotel needed window treatments that would handle guest use, coastal conditions and high aesthetic standards simultaneously. PVC plantation shutters were the clear solution.
Managing a boutique hotel means every furnishing decision is a long-term one. The owners of this Cowes property needed something that would look great on day one and still look great three years later — regardless of what guests did to them.
We specified commercial-grade PVC shutters with stainless steel hardware throughout. The coastal environment demands materials that don't react to salt air, and PVC was the only sensible choice. We used a custom off-white tone to complement the property's interior design.
The project spanned 22 guest rooms plus common areas, and was completed over a single week during a low season period. The hotel has since featured the shutters prominently in its marketing photography.
